How do I get on the team?

Drjft Gaming is always looking for new and exciting writers to join us and bring some fresh and unique to the table. However it goes without saying that some degree of writing experience is needed. We aim to release around 2 articles a fortnight from each writer. This can include two reviews or “Editorials” which are about generally anything, it’s up to you! There’s also no cap on how many articles you can write as long as they’re suitable to be published, we will publish them.

What rewards do I get?

Being an independent community based project we don’t pay our writers. How ever, review titles for games, and opportunities to get free games is always there. It also looks great if you can say you’ve  done writing work for a certain website on a resume and have a whole portfolio of articles you’ve written with Drjft Gaming or anywhere on the internet.

What jobs is there?

Mainly writing positions however we do a weekly Podcast that is always open for more presenters and guest stars. The show is about 30-60 minutes long and recorded every Tuesday night at 7pM Australian Eastern Standard Time. It’s essential that you have a quality microphone and Skype isntalled on your computer. We are also looking for people to mirror the episodes.

How do I apply?

Applying to get onto the Drjft Gaming team is pretty simple. Send an email to “brycewilson[at]drjft[dot]com” with some basic information about yourself, some of your ideas as well as a document/pasting of some examples of your work. If applying for the Podcasting team just email the same address and as the Subject include “Podcast” and we will organise to talk over Skype.
