Drjft Gaming was launched in the Winter of 2009 as a hobby/project originally serving as a light weight xHTML website dedicated to gaming news and reviews.

A few weeks into development and creation of Drjft Gaming I sought after a co-owner who I found in Ryan Croton, a New Zealand based long time friend and gamer. He initially had intended on launching a site however it never took off, so I made a major move in signing him up! For the next few months things went pretty slow and we were lucky to get over 50 hits a day.
In that time I managed to get onto the THQ Review/Press Team and review a few titles for them which was brilliat insight into how professional journalism works and how it feels to do reviews of AAA titles.
Around March of 2010 Drjft Gaming launched it’s Version 2 running on a WordPress backend which you are looking at now. It allowed a more pleasant viewing experience as well as offered a more visually appealing site for people to link friends and other like minded gamers too. Drjft Gaming now spans over 5 services including;

- CyberGamer
- Web Projects
We have currently been around a year and we will be here for a long time to come.
